Bio

Alex gained her diploma in Physiotherapy in 1999 in Germany.

Before moving to the UK in 2002, Alex worked mostly in paediatrics with patients aged 3-6 years and in a private orthpaedic practice in Bonn, Germany. Alex continued her physiotherapy career as a community paediatric PT in the UK before moving to Bermuda in 2010.

In Bermuda, Alex was part of the Early Intervention team working for the Department Health for the Government. She joined OPA in 2015 and has widened her scope of practice to encompass orthopaedic and sports related injuries, as well as the eldery and palliative care. She is qualified in acupuncture and uses this widely in her practice.

Alex is a passionate and accomplished athlete and has completed several half and full Ironman triathlons. She enjoys applying her knowledge and passion of movement and healthy living to her daily work.
